Issue #2
I got bleach-shamed by my twin?
This MCM is occurred, unfortunately, pretty recently. As a matter of fact, just last year, I’m focused hard on my lab work, when I look up and see someone I recognised. For context, I lived on campus for my first year of uni, and this guy was basically my neighbour – we lived a couple of townhouses away from each other. Add that to being in the same course, boom, we were practically family (if family never spoke to each other apart from a couple of, “Thank God I’m not the only one late!” greetings).
And like any good family member, I noticed that this guy had bleach-blonde hair, which was a pretty new development from when I saw him a week ago. Please note, I had just recently bleached my hair, then dyed it a pretty gorgeous shade of auburn (if I do say so myself), so I was pretty excited to see someone in the same position as me. Me being me, I sparked up a conversation, and it went along the lines of this:
“Oh my days, you bleached your hair?”
“Yeah, just a couple of days ago.”
“That’s so funny, I bleached mine too.”
“Really? No way, doesn’t look like it.”
“Yeah, I bleached it, then dyed it. Just felt like it. No reasons. Why’d you bleach yours?”
“The whole hockey team did as a dare. Don’t worry, I would never bleach it for no reason!”
“Oh-! 🙂🙂🙂
Guys, believe it or not, I genuinely don’t think he was insulting me 😭😭😭. He still continued smiling and laughing like he didn’t just call me a no-reasoning hair-bleaching WEIRDO (I’m paraphrasing). However, I remember going back to my lab work like… ummm what???? 😭😭
So yeah, I don’t know how I got bleach-shamed by a guy with literal bleached hair but sure, that’s life.
A quick MCM to enjoy! The second of a whole lot more! Ever been hair-shamed before? Let me know your thoughts down below
